Arts Development: Arbortech Sponsorship of Men’s Art Program and Carving Workshop with Hape Kiddle

A big thank you to Arbortech for supporting our Men’s Art Program by gifting us some brand-new tools!  

The tools arrived at the perfect time, coinciding with a carving development workshop, led by master carver, Hape Kiddle. Over two weeks, Hape took our male artists back through tool safety basics, sustainable wood harvesting practices, wood finishes, and advanced carving and sculpting techniques using both hand tools and our new power tools.   

The guys have been creating some beautiful new work, which you will have a chance to take home at our upcoming art fairs.
