2024: Art Centre Update

Dear Anindilyakwa Arts friends and family,

We wanted to (belatedly) thank everyone for their amazing support over 2023! We had a huge year at the art centre – we achieved a lot of firsts, saw some big plans come to life and met so many new, incredible people. Not only did we achieve record-breaking sales and rapidly grow our artist numbers, but we also created some of our most ambitious artwork to date. 

Unfortunately, we are facing a slower start to 2024. Due to resourcing issues, the art centre has been required to close its doors. While an incredibly disappointing outcome for staff and community, we are optimistic that we will be able to find a resolution and return to business as usual soon.

As a social enterprise, our art centre depends on your support. Again, we would like to say a huge thank you for buying our artwork, joining our workshops, listening to our talks, following along with us on social media, and coming to meet us in person as we travelled around the country.
