Arthur is one of the infamous 'Herbert Brothers' and a leading emerging artist in the Maminjirrada (hook spear) revitalisation project. 

Arthur is known for intricate and bright carving works, which are made with high craftsmanship. Working with his brothers and cousins, he collects on his outstation, traditionally harvesting seasonal wood. He is best known for his unusually colourful spears, whereby he mixes traditional knowledge with contemporary influence, inspired by the manga he finds on youtube.
