Earlier in the year, Anindilyakwa Arts were invited by Agency Projects to take part in UPLANDS.
UPLANDS partners with remote Indigenous Art Centres to deliver a landmark digital project that empowers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists to create and share unique arts and cultural experiences with the world.
Working closely with our Arts and Cultural Officers, they recorded and interviewed artists, capturing stories and knowledge. The interviews will accompany a “digital twin” of our Gallery and three Art Centers across the Eylandt. The virtual tour will be an accessible resource for you to learn more about Anindilyakwa culture and knowledge, in addition to many other Art Centers from across the country.
More information will be released soon, follow the project Instagram for updates!
