End of 22/23 FY wrap
As we wrap up another incredible financial year at Anindilyakwa Arts, we are filled with gratitude for the tremendous support we have received from our community, partners, and patrons. It has been a year of remarkable growth and achievement, and we are excited to share our journey with you.
Artist Community Expansion: Over the past year, our community of artists has continued to flourish. We proudly welcomed an average of nine new artists per month, resulting in a total of 444 talented member artists.
Investing in Our Communities: One of our core missions is to empower and uplift the indigenous communities of the Groote Eylandt archipelago. We are thrilled to report a significant milestone this year – a remarkable 135% increase in artist payments. This increase represents a substantial direct cash investment into the archipelago, benefiting artists and their communities across the region.
Financial Sustainability: In our pursuit of sustainable operations, we are proud to announce an 80% increase in revenue over the past year. Your purchases and contributions directly support our work, enabling us to continue preserving and promoting indigenous art and culture.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our supporters, patrons, and partners who have made this year's success possible.
